Biblical Greek 2

Required materials: Basics of Biblical Greek Grammar, 3rd edition by William D. Mounce; Basics of Biblical Greek Workbook, 3rd edition by William D. Mounce

This course picks up where Biblical Greek 1 left off (chapter 21) and will cover the remainder of the Basics of Biblical Greek textbook. We will finish learning all the verb forms in Greek as well as the rest of the vocabulary occurring over 50 times in the New Testament. We will also continue to read larger passages of Scripture from the Greek New Testament and discuss insights gained from exegesis in the original language. By the end of this course, students will have learned a total of 320 vocabulary words, covering 80% of the words in the New Testament. Students will get individualized attention during class for word pronunciation. Therefore, students should have their own microphone headset.
